Slight improvement over your basic Saturday Night Live type comedy. The
cameo by Lee Harris saves it, though.

Seriously, they clearly tried pretty hard to have some fun with the Red Sox
fan frustration without being too insulting. I enjoyed it enough to look
foreward to seeing it one more time when it came to video. The bonus
features include an extended opening in the deleted scenes with the boy's
uncle. Very funny.

"Careful, kid, they'll break your heart."

I have. I'm not usually in romantic comedies, but considering the contect of
the movie, I bought the Red Sox edition of the DVD.
I have to admit, I liked it. Plus I never get tired of seeing the final out
of the 2004 Series. Added plus, it has Drew Barrymore in it!

Not yet...I can't get past the "Jimmy Fallon" factor. He's unbearable.

as a 'chick'..... I agree. But I loved Fallon's characters
apartment and wondered where that kind of devoted male Sox fan could be
found. : )
are you willing to dance for those Sox/Yankees tickets?

Waited overnight on a stinking sidewalk once. It was cold and wet. But,
these were playoff tickets before the era of online ticketing. I was
younger and slightly more foolish.

I was also greedy. I took best available for game 7, and it only went 4
games.

...or to see the Red Sox win it all, like Leary did for us. A remarkable
sacrifice...
