I was looking for some weather news on WTNH and an ad for some hair club
pooped up. I recognized the before pictures as Wade Boggs. He's pimping

Wade's also on their TV infomercial. Caught a few seconds of it early
Saturday morning.

It makes sense that Wade would get a hair restoration. The Hall of
Fame won't let him wear a Devil Rays hat, so he needs something to
cover his scalp.

He's been doing radio ads for this company for a long time. I always
hear them on WFAN and ESPN radio. I never saw the infomercial until
this past weekend. Wade looked really dorky, BTW. He was brushing
his hair with his hands and then swinging an imaginary bat.

Did he play a sleazy dealer?

No, the fat guy played the car dealer, who would keep "talking" to Wade,
then they'd do an *obvious* cut to another location, with
cartoon-looking, crayon drawn background. The joke was that Wade wasn't
really anywhere near the guy; a spoof of really cheesy local used car
dealership ads.

Funny thing about Wade Boggs is he may still be acting like a pimp. A woman
I work with told me that some guy named "Wade Boggs" was hitting on her
daughter. Apparently, this girl had no clue who he was and Boggs said
"don't you know who I am?".... she said, "no, should I?".... ROFL

I'm not saying I believe the story, but it's funny as hell if it's true.
